Privacy

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking tools. Fonts, scripts and images come from this site itself.

Controller

The controller for the processing of personal data on this site is the operator named in the Impressum above. Contact: the e-mail address above. The operator does not store any data about visitors of this site and has no access to GitHub's logs.

Hosting on GitHub Pages

This site is served by GitHub Pages (GitHub Inc., USA). When you open it, GitHub automatically processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, browser type and time of access to deliver the site and to protect it against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: the legitimate interest lies in providing the site reliably and securely. The data is transferred to the USA. GitHub bases this transfer on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (Art. 45 and 46 GDPR). GitHub decides how long it keeps this data. Details are in GitHub's privacy statement.

Demo

The demo runs entirely in your browser and shows made-up issues and pull requests. It sends nothing to a server. Tasks, stars and notes you add in the demo are kept in your browser's session storage and are gone when you close the tab. In local storage it only remembers view settings such as the selected view and filters. You can delete both at any time in your browser settings.

The software itself

On My Plate runs on your own computer. It talks only to the Jira, GitLab and Bitbucket instances you configure and sends nothing to the operator of this site or to anyone else. Only when you run --update does it download the latest release from GitHub; GitHub then processes your IP address as described above.

Links to other sites

Links to GitHub lead to another provider's offering. Their privacy terms apply there.

Contact by e-mail

If you send an e-mail, your address and message are used only to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest lies in answering your request. The e-mail is deleted once the matter is settled and no legal obligation to keep it applies.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You can object at any time to processing based on a legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR). You can also lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde). Please send privacy questions to the e-mail address above. There is no automated decision-making or profiling.
